Wasatch County Democratic Party
Last Call for Municipal Candidates!
Hello Wasatch County Democrats!
Thank you to all who joined us at the Organizing Convention on May 22nd. It was great to have our first in-person event since the pandemic, even if it was a crazy windy day. I am excited to be a part of the newly elected county party leadership team and to serve as the new Chair along with Meaghan Miller as Vice-Chair and Rudy Kohler as Parliamentarian.
Please join me in offering a big THANK YOU to Terri Goodall for being our fearless leader over the past several years! She has worked tirelessly to help elect Democrats and build our party.
We are still looking for someone to serve as Secretary and Treasurer, please contact us if you are interested in one of these positions.
Some important deadlines and events are coming up for Wasatch County Democrats to take action and get involved.
Monday, June 7th is the last day to file for municipal races. Contact us if you would like to discuss this opportunity to serve your community.
Kicking off the state party convention, the annual Taylor & Mayne Awards Dinner is an in-person event scheduled for Friday, June 25th.
The Utah Democratic Party Organizing Convention will be a virtual event held on Saturday, June 26th. See who has filed for state party leadership positions here. Candidates have been reaching out to State Delegates - please watch your email for more information as we get closer to that date.
We are also planning several Wasatch Dems summer activities including a service project and the Fair Days and Swiss Days parades. Make sure you have a Wasatch Dems t-shirt and watch your email and our Facebook page for more details about how you can get involved.
I look forward to working alongside you to offer Wasatch County voters a choice and elect more Democrats! Please feel free to reach out to me by email at email@example.com or call/text 435-671-8263.
